Mentoring - as a process
By S. Glikbarg
A great book that uses compelling examples to explain the various phases of mentoring -- and there's no doubt that knowing more about the process will ensure a better mentoring program and experience. The appendix at the back is a great resource too.

Among the items I taught at Stanford Law School was negotiation and also developing young lawyers. This book involves and explains the techniques for traing teachers but really has a much broader application. I believe it is highly useful reding for people in the business world who have to train and integrate new executives and employees.
